chilledOut

A day out with JD and Beer. It’s been ages since we had a whole day to ourselves… Ever since Beer worked her ‘part time’.
We met up early. Had a buffet at Sakura, all the while chatted about anything we can link to. It was fun. Enjoying the air-con in such a warm day. Enjoying the scenery of Dhoby Ghaut from the glass paned wall-cum-window. Everything looked so tranquil. When it’s time to leave, we walked to Plaza Singapure and tour around. Before settling down at Xin Wang for a high tea session.
Beer is someone who had sudden and not-so-lasting urges. I dunno what drives her, she had the craving to play badminton. So we, head to Carrefour to buy some cheap rackets, and shuttlecocks. JD had to meet his frens, and so I went along with Beer with her badminton. Played for some time. And it was intense woo. Sweating like mad. Wearing jeans. People must have thought I was crazy.
Went back home to change. Then met Beer again with her husband and along with JD, head to Clarke Quay to find some nice play to chill out. Had dinner at Korean BBQ Chicken at Central first(Wasn’t very nice compared to the previous cineleisure outlet. Dunno why). Then went and find a place we can sit down. Find for quite a while before settling down at a outdoor pub next to the bungee jump thingy. Originally wanted to drink something like. But to link it with Xin Hui’s (From Taipei to Beijing) song, we ordered the 2 drinks mentioned in the song. Namely ‘Flaming Lamborghini’ and ‘Bloody Mary’. For me and Jiande respectively.
That flaming lambo is, according to my frens, a killer. But maybe the pub does not make a super strong version, or it isn’t that bad as they claim to be. Nice feeling tho. Light a flame on the liquor and add in the milk. Done by the staff of coz. Started out normal, then warm, then the hot feeling from the liquor, and then sweetness from the milk. After drinking(must be in one shot), leaves a fuzzy warm feeling in the stomach. Damn nice. Bloody Mary taste weird tho… Like tomato juices with tobasco and pepper added in.
After that ordered one Long Island tea to quench the hot hot feeling. But couldn’t finish it. So we left and call it a day. Lol, and Beer was worried I might collapse on my way home. She sent me a msg asking if I reached home safely. Yes I do, sitting infront of my laptop surfing the net. Perfectly normal. Haha.
It was a fun day the whole of the day. How I wish we could have time to get together again… Maybe after my Wallaby in November… Such free times is a privillege. Treasured it.
